the HSK-INOX-Hygienic Design cable gland by HUMMEL

 

The new HSK-INOX-Hygienic Design cable gland was designed for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, as well as for use whenever the possible accumulation of micro-organisms must be avoided. The HUMMEL HSK-INOX-Hygienic Design cable glands were designed for special applications with specific requirements as to hygienic standards and cleaning possibilities. They are available in various sizes, from M12x1.5 to M25x1.5. The enclosure of HD cable glands does not have any corners nor edges, as well as exposed external threads. Its characteristic feature are its easy-to-clean, smooth outer surfaces. The standard version provides IP66 and IP68 protection. IP69K protection is available on demand as a special variant. Both designs are suitable for low pressure foam washing. What is more, an EMC screen connection was integrated in the HSK-INOX-HD cable glands. This connection enables the addition of cable screening providing for high electromagnetic compatibility.
